Since December 12th, 2012, the Museum of Louvre - Lens is officially opened! Accesses, animations, tickets, transport, parking lots... Find all that it is necessary to you to know to invite each other in the Louvre to Lens.
Open from 10 am till 6 pm, every day except Tuesday and May 1st.
Night-to 22 hours on first Friday of every month, from September till June.
- Big gallery and glass detached house: Free entrance to the end of 2013.
- Gallery of temporary exposure: 9 € (8 € reduced rate)
- Entered totally free, on documentary evidence, for people under 18, the school complexes and their guides, the beneficiaries of the RSA or the social assistance, the job-seekers, the members of the card "Louvre-Lens" (15 € a year, 10 € for people under 25), the staff of the EPCC Louvre-Lens and the Museum of Louvre, the civil disabled persons or the war victims, the members of International council of Museums ( ICOM) or Monuments and sites ( ICOMOS).

BY CAR
Lens is accessible by highways A1 ( Lille-Paris) and A26 ( Calais-Reims) then A21 ( mining bypass).
Parking lot : in the immediate surroundings of the museum (side Lens, side Liévin) approximately 900 places all in all are available and free. The parking lot says Dumortier is the closest to the museum (150 m). Access by the parking lot Bollaert.
BY TRAIN
The TER and the SNCF, partner of the Louvre-Lens, set up Pass to allow the inhabitants of all the region to go to the museum by train, at a lower price. For a bought train ticket, the bill return is offered. Since the station a shuttle harms free of charge (1st year) the museum. A landscaped pedestrian path also leads to it (20mn of walking approximately)
IN BIKE
Parking lots bike are available free of charge almost everywhere. We do not run inside the park and we are going to park its cycle on foot.
ON FOOT
The accesses in soft mode from the station of Lens are ended (count about twenty minutes on foot) by requalifiés paths. Eleven entrances by the park were created. The main clauses will be accessible first and foremost by the visitors who do not know the sector. Other entrances are especially intended for the local residents and for the inhabitants who are in a certain geographical closeness.
BY PLANE
The international airport of Lille-Lesquin is 30 mn of Lens by car.
Shop and fast food are available inside the museum.
Attention, Marc Meurin's gourmet restaurant will not be opened to the public before the beginning of January.
– About twenty plant sofas (massifs specially conceived for this use) can serve as benches in the perimeter of the park for all those who will want to make a pose before reaching the museum.
– Six different initiatory routes will be proposed inside the museum of which an available in sign language.
